Genocide in Gaza: 51 dead, including journalists, Monday, June 30

Gaza's Civil Defense reported 51 deaths on Monday, June 30, including 24 in an internet café, killed by Israeli bombardments. Several people on site explained that this cybercafé was a meeting place for Palestinian journalists.

According to Gaza's Civil Defense, an Israeli bombing alone killed 24 people and injured dozens of others in a beachfront internet café in Gaza City, called "Al-Baqa". Earlier in the day, it had already announced the deaths of 27 people in several Israeli army attacks.

The press office of the Palestinian Hamas group's government in Gaza reported that photojournalist Ismail Abu Hatab was killed in the attack. Journalist Bayan Abu Sultan was also reportedly seriously injured. "Amna Alsalmi (she chose "Frans" as her journalist name) and Ismaël Abu Hatab, two photojournalists, are among the victims of the Israeli bombing of the Al-Baqa café in Gaza port. Israel murdered the witnesses of truth", tweeted the Palestinian ambassador to France, Hala Abou-Hassira, at the end of the day.

11 people killed near humanitarian aid distribution points

"There are always a lot of people in this place, which offers drinks, family spaces, and internet access," Ahmed Al-Nayrab, 26, told Agence France-Presse (AFP), who was on a nearby beach with friends when he heard a "huge explosion."
